Threadgill's Deal
Most of you know by now, I have a love hate relationship with Threadgill's. I want to like it because it's an Austin institution, but I just don't care for the food that much. But, this week's killer deal happens to be a free meal at Threadgill's. Apparently they've been having trouble getting people into their North location since it reopened. So to drum up business, if you go after 4:00 anytime this week, you can get a free dinner. Can't beat that even if the food is pretty marginal.

I've tried to like it too, honest to goodness, and I just couldn't. And its not just that I'm not a fan of Southern Cooking, it just didn't do it for me.
Can't beat free though.
I've only been once and wasn't really all that excited about it. I mean it was o.k., but not great. I'll be taking them up on a free dinner though!

I agree that in the past they have had consistency issues. The last couple times I went though I felt like they were firing on all cylinders.
Gotta love a place that puts their money where you mouth is though.
