We have run Austin's first CSA since 1994, and have turned lots of commitment-phobes into adventurous gastronomers! The excitement of following what's in season in this locality pleases the palette, the mind, and the checkbook. Buying directly from a farm CSA is hugely cheaper than buying organics from WF or CM (not to mention so much better-tasting and greener), and also a bit cheaper than buying at the farmers' market. let me know if you'd like more information.
