I just went the other night for my first time for my 15 year wedding anniversary. I ordered that gnocchi with the smoked tomato sauce too - and I hated it! TOO SMOKEY and just wrong!! I thought it was funny that you said you blamed yourself for ordering wrong, because I did the same thing. Well, I think we need to let it go and realize that the sauce just wasn't good. I was so disappointed; my husband and I saw Cippolina while waiting for the valet, and looked at each other - we should have eaten there.
